Tianjin Goldsun Wire Rope has spent over 80 years manufacturing elevator rope, crane rope and specialist wire rope for some of the world’s most demanding industries and critical applications. When New Zealand design agency Duo Design was developing a new brand identity and internationally focused digital presence for Goldsun, they engaged us to create detailed 3D cable and wire rope renders to support the project.

Working from supplied technical and reference material, we created detailed 3D models and photorealistic renders of Goldsun’s specialist rope constructions. The imagery covered a range of product types, including elevator rope, crane and construction rope, port rope, mining rope and oil and gas rope. It was designed to communicate complex rope constructions clearly and confidently.

The resulting renders gave Duo Design a flexible library of imagery for use across Goldsun’s website, product catalogue and wider marketing materials. 3D rendering also allowed the rope constructions to be presented from multiple viewpoints and in different applications without the limitations of a traditional photo shoot.

Duo Design’s wider project established a unified brand and digital platform, built around the positioning “Engineered for Critical Performance”, designed to support Goldsun’s international growth and communicate its engineering credibility, manufacturing scale and focus on critical applications. Our 3D renders provided an important visual element within that brand, helping showcase Goldsun’s wire rope products clearly and professionally to engineering audiences around the world.
