Westgold is a brand that’s all about crafting natural taste adventures. When they launched a new range of infused butters, deliciously designed to add flair to cooking, they engaged New Zealand strategic branding agency Launchsight to lead the creation of the product stories and packaging designs. Launchsight then engaged us to create photorealistic 3D renders of the new range.

Working from supplied print-ready artworks, we 3D modelled the petite packs from scratch and produced photorealistic renders of the full infused butter range. Each pack was rendered from multiple angles – front, back and side – to give a complete visual library. The high-resolution visuals were supplied for multi-use across Westgold’s website, packaging mockups, sales presentations and wider marketing materials. 3D rendering allowed the full range to be presented consistently and professionally, without the cost and logistical complexity of photographing every product variant.

Launchsight’s wider project delivered standout packaging with instant clarity and crave-ability, launching initially into New Zealand and Australia with other international markets on the horizon. The work was a finalist in the TVNZ NZ Marketing Awards 2023 for Excellence in Brand Transformation Strategy, and Westland Milk Products received the Deloitte Top 200 Award 2023 for Most Improved Performance NZ Business. Our 3D renders provided an important visual element within that brand, helping showcase the new infused butter range clearly and professionally to buyers and consumers.
