About Us
At ProductRenders, as the name suggests, we are leaders in high-quality 3D product renders. With over 25 years of experience, we offer realistic and affordable renders for businesses of all sizes.
Michael, the founder of ProductRenders, spent three decades working in advertising and design agencies as a print, artworking and retouching professional. While leading a retouching team at a major New Zealand advertising agency, he saw the inefficiencies of traditional photography – hours lost editing imperfections. Determined to find a better way, he began pioneering 3D-rendering techniques to revolutionise product presentation.
The breakthrough came in 2009 when a global mobile phone company tasked the agency with photographing their entire handset range. Recognising the limitations of photography, he proposed 3D modelling instead. Despite being told it “couldn’t be done”, he spent the next six months proving it could, which led to a cost-effective, game-changing process. This success became the foundation of ProductRenders, where Michael and his team now deliver hyperreal 3D product and packaging renders.
